This versatile system can be freely positioned without compromising its outstanding audio performance, with subtly contoured speakers adding a hint of sophistication to your interior design.
The sophisticated FS-W40 has a silk-gloss aluminium top panel with ceramic-like fascia, touch-sensitive buttons, and FL display. More than a stylish centrepiece, the AV Center reduces cable clutter and simplifies on-wall TV installation.
These unobtrusive yet deceptively powerful active speakers blend with any interior and can be placed wherever you like. A distance calibration system balances sound in asymmetric layouts. Add optional FS-S40 Wireless Rear Speakers and FS-SW40 Wireless Subwoofer (sold separately) to enjoy flexible and immersive 4.1-channel surround sound.
Cast audio from iOS, Android™, and PC apps to enjoy app-based online music on your speakers via Google Cast. The Pioneer Remote App also enables multi-room control and streaming from smartphone or computer*, while Bluetooth® smoothly transmits almost any audio to your entertainment system.

HDMI® terminals support Ultra HD Blu-ray™, broadcast, and streaming video with HDCP 2.2 compliance. Other features such as 4K/60 Hz, BT.2020 color, HDR, and 4:4:4 color space exploit next-generation content.
The FS-W40 decodes the most popular stereo and multichannel audio formats and offers a range of listening modes so you can enjoy the sound that suits you and your content best. Hi-Res Audio via network and USB is also supported.
Wireless speakers connect automatically the moment the AV Center detects an incoming signal, and powers down by itself once you’re done. As well as Pioneer Remote App, you can use the remote controller to navigate a simple graphic interface to select sources and change AV settings.
FireConnect™* mirrors audio playing to the FS-W40 on compatible speakers placed around the home. Control playback in all zones via Pioneer Remote App, or by using buttons on the speakers.
